Research here means a study derived from the BloomsEye plant library and the verification ledgers behind it: what the record shows when it is measured rather than described. Each study publishes its dataset beside it, free to download and to check.

Where the plant authorities disagree: a 700-plant study
700 garden plants checked against the published pages of NC State Extension, Missouri Botanical Garden, the RHS and more, and a record of where those authorities contradict each other: on hardiness zones, 53.7% of the plants checked split outright.
